So honoured to be selected as a finalist in the Kennedy Prize. This prize is based and exhibited in Adelaide but open to Australian artists nationwide and is awarded to works that embody, comment on or celebrate beauty. Thanks to my model Ashlee Taylor – beautiful both inside and out.

So excited to announce that my painting of actress Maggie Dence is a semi-finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize. Congratulations to all of the semi-finalists and thank you judges – I am sure it would have been extremely hard to judge the 1000 plus entries received.

Very excited to hear the news that I am a finalist in the Mosman Art Prize for my work “Anyone For Cake?”. There were over 700 entries this year. The news came on the day my model Eliza Newman celebrated her 18th birthday – many happy returns for the big occasion Eliza!
After a three week break I am now back in the studio. I was inspired to paint this work following a visit to Vivid, Sydney.
